Our Tulsa Campus Pastor, Lee Martin, continues week four of our teaching series, Life Lessons.

Through the story of Joseph, we see that God’s presence and favor are not limited to ideal circumstances. Whether Joseph was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, forgotten in prison, or eventually elevated in Egypt, the Lord was with him and worked through every step of his journey.

In this message, Pastor Lee explores the following Scriptures:

GENESIS 39:2 ESV 2 The Lord was with Joseph, and he became a successful man, and he was in the house of his Egyptian master.

GENESIS 39:5 ESV 5 From the time that he made him overseer in his house and over all that he had, the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; the blessing of the Lord was on all that he had, in house and field.

GENESIS 39:21 ESV 21 But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

GENESIS 39:23 ESV 23 The keeper of the prison paid no attention to anything that was in Joseph's charge, because the Lord was with him. And whatever he did, the Lord made it succeed.

GENESIS 50:20 NIV 20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

ROMANS 11:36 ESV 36 For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

DANIEL 1:8-9A NIV 8 But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way. 9 Now God...

COLOSSIANS 3:17 ESV 17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

MATTHEW 19:28-29 NIV 28 Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.

PHILIPPIANS 1:4-6 NIV 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
