The Test of a Lifetime // First and Best Week 2
What if the most important test of your life only had two questions? One
determines where you'll spend eternity, and the other challenges what you're
doing with the life God has given you. The truth is, we weren't created to simply
exist. We were created to live with eternal purpose! In this message, Pastor Dan
shares how to live intentionally, make your life count, and invest in what lasts
forever. Because eternity is real, people matter, and what we do with our lives
matters!
It's gonna be a good day in church. We're gonna get there in just a moment, but let me just say thank you, thank you, thank you so much. My wife and I just say all the time, how blessed we are to be here at Calvary Church and the greatest honor and privilege after knowing the Lord and having my family is to be your pastor here at Calvary Church. So I honor you and I just wanna say thank you for the privilege of getting to serve you and getting to lead you. It is truly such an honor. Wake up every single day and say thank you Jesus for Calvary Church and what he's doing here. All right, you ready? Let's jump in today, turn to your neighbor and say, "Get ready for the final exam." Some of you just broke into a cold sweat. We were talking about a test in church, all right? We're gonna breathe, we're gonna smile. It's gonna be okay, we're gonna let God speak to us. Hey, I heard this story about a couple that went to the doctor and the husband wasn't doing well and the doctor does this whole evaluation. Looks very serious and he says to the wife, he says, "Ma'am, I need to speak to you privately." And so they step aside and the doctor says, "Your husband's condition is very, very serious. There's a chance that he can make it, but here's what's going to need to happen for him to make it.
He needs a life with absolutely no stress at all. Every single day he needs to wake up and have a hot breakfast prepared by you. Every day the house must be absolutely spotless, totally conducive to his rest. You must never ask him to help with chores. Every night he needs a home-cooked meal, exactly what he wants. If he has any desire at all for intimacy, you must help him with every single need. You must be pleasant with him at all times. Never burden him with your emotions or your problems. You must give him zero stress. If you do this, he will live. She nods, walks back into the waiting room. The husband's sitting there wide-eyed. He says, "Honey, what did the doctor say?" She takes a deep breath and goes, "He said you're going to die." Come on, someone that's terrible and perfect all at the same time. Now, we laugh at that story, but let's face the honest truth today. You're going to die one day. Oh, I said you're going to die. Oh, I'm not being morbid. I'm just being honest. 120 years for now should the Lord tear you. There will be a whole new set of people across planet earth. You're going to die. Somebody said, "Poster Dan, I came to church to be encouraged. Be a little bit more positive." "Okay, I am a hundred percent positive one day you're going to die."
And only a fool goes through life unprepared for what's inevitable. Listen, my job as your pastor, Pastor Paul just said it, is to equip the saints to do the work of ministry. And my job as your pastor, my primary job is not just to make you happier. My primary job is not just so that you would have a better marriage or not just so that you'd get your finances in order or not so that you'd just take a next step and join the dream team. All of those things are great and all of those things are important. But my primary responsibility as your pastor is to actually prepare you for eternity. Because one day every single one of us will stand before the Lord. We'll stand before the Lord. Now, how many of you ever heard the phrase YOLO? Y-O-L-O? Anyone ever heard the phrase YOLO? Okay, back in 2011, the rapper Drake helped popularize this phrase in one of his rap songs YOLO. And here's what it means. You only live once. You only live once. And it became this cultural phenomenon. People started placing that phrase on t-shirts, posting it on social media, and pretty much using it as an excuse for them to live their lives, however they want to live. Because YOLO, you only live once. So if you want to eat it, eat it. If you want to drink it, drink it. If you want to jump off that, do it. Make that terrible financial decision.
Because YOLO, you only live once. But I've got a different phrase for us today. Because I don't believe that phrase is true. It's not YOLO, it's Y-O-L-T, it's YOLT, because you only live twice. Come on, someone. So there's this life here on Earth, and then there's life for all of eternity. And my job is to get you ready for that second life. Romans 14 says it this way. It says you then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat as it is written, as surely as I live says the Lord, that every knee will bow before me. And every tongue will acknowledge God. So then each of us must give an account of ourselves to God. Look at what the writer says. Every knee, every tongue, every person, there will be a moment in eternity where you meet your maker. You meet him face to face. And when you meet him face to face, you'll be asked two questions. Two questions that will shape how you live now, and where you will spend forever. Now some of us love tests. Some of us are A students.
They're the people that just got it right all the time. Now some of us are C students. Come on, do I have any C students? You're just happy that you just passed. You're just happy that you have that degree. Thank God for degrees, all right? You're just happy that you made it, okay? When I was in high school, I took a class that was AP Biology, my junior year. And I took AP Biology, even though they said that was one of the hardest college courses, I heard great things about the teacher and the students that went through the material said it was difficult, but they really enjoyed the experience. And I still remember my junior year. I still remember the teacher's name. Her name was Carrie Chesna. If you happen to be watching this message, shout out to Carrie Chesna. You were the best AP biology teacher ever, okay? And she was amazing. Not only was she loving and kind and caring. She really cared for her students, but she was so smart in that she kept 10 years worth of the last AP biology final exams, she kept all of the questions and the answers. So as we were going along the year and we were tested on a particular subject, she would give us study guides relating to that subject with the AP bio final exam questions
and the answers in our study guide. So we already had the answers to the test. If we would just study the study guide, we knew what was coming on the test. You following me? I got to that AP bio exam, me and a bunch of other students in our class. And it wasn't because we were that smart. We just studied what was on the study guide. We all got five out of five. We ace that test. Why? Because we knew the questions and the answers that were going to be on that test. And spiritually today, I want to do a favor for you. I want to tell you what's going to be on that test. One moment after you die. When you stand before the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, wouldn't you love to know the questions you're going to get asked? And even better, wouldn't you love the right answers of what happens one moment after you die? The Bible reveals that when you die, there are two judgments, not one. There are two judgments, not one. And you have to understand the difference. Number one is called the Great White Throne Judgment. This is the judgment concerning salvation.
Revelation 20, 11 through 15 talks about it. It says, "Then I saw a Great White Throne and him who was seated on it. And I saw the dead, great and small standing before the throne and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And anyone's whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire." Now notice something from these verses. There are books, plural, and then there's a book singular. There's books, plural, and then there's a book singular. The books contain the record of our lives. Every action, every motive, every sin, but the Book of Life contains the names of those that belong to Jesus. And listen to me church, you don't want to be judged based upon what's in the books, plural, you want your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life. But here's the first question you're going to be asked, one minute after you die. Question number one is this. What did you do with my son Jesus? What did you do with my son Jesus? Not were you a good person? Not did you go to church from time to time? Not did you live a moral life? The question is this, what did you do with my son Jesus? The Bible says this, Romans 6, 23, that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.
In other words, you can't erase your own sin. You can't do good enough things to outdo the sin that's in your life. But here's the good news of the gospel. Isaiah 43, 25 says, I even I, that's talking about Jesus, and the one that blots out your transgressions. In other words, what you couldn't do for yourself, Jesus has already done for you. That when you repent of your sins and you surrender your life to Jesus, that the blood of Jesus washes away your sins. Come on, someone, your past is forgiven, your guilt is removed, the sin is paid for, and your name is written once and for all in the Lamb's book of life. And somebody ought to say, thank you Jesus today, that your past doesn't have to determine your eternity, because salvation is found in no other name, but the name of Jesus. But Jesus warns us in Matthew chapter seven, one of the scariest verses in the Bible. I've laid awake at night worrying about this passage, Matthew seven, 21 through 23. Here's what he says, not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven. In other words, people will point to the religious things that they've done. Today it might sound like I went to church, I read my Bible, I even served once in a while on the dream team, I even gave in an offering.
Sometimes in my life, I did good things, but Jesus says something absolutely terrifying. He says, depart from me, I never knew you. In other words, he wasn't looking for religion, he was looking for a relationship. So when you stand before God, the right answer, the first question, is I surrendered my life to Jesus. I trusted what he did on Calvary. I know him and he knows me, that's the first question. Now, judgment number two is called the judgment seat of Christ or the Bema Seat. Now, this judgment isn't about heaven or hell, that question has already been answered in judgment number one. This question is all about rewards. It's all about what rewards you're gonna receive. Second Corinthians five, verse 10 says, for we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ so that each of us may receive what is due for us for the things done well in the body, whether good or bad. So now you gotta get in your mind this Olympic award ceremony. what He entrusted to them. This is Matthew chapter 16, 27, where it says, "The Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels, and then He will reward each person according to what they have done." Look at Revelation chapter 22 verse 12. It says, "Look, I am coming soon. My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done." So let's rewind a little bit. "We are saved by grace through faith." Come on, we're saved by grace through faith. We couldn't earn it. We don't deserve
it. The price has been paid once and for all, but we're saved by grace through faith, by grace through faith. But once we're saved, our lives are all about work, work, work, work, work for the kingdom of God to make an eternal difference. Because all that we can take from this life is our life, our soul, and the souls of those that are going into eternity in heaven. Your life and the life of others that you used for God's glory to make an eternal difference. And that brings us to the second question at the second judgment that you're going to be asked. Question number two is this. What did you do with what I gave you? What did you do with what I gave you? What did you do with your time, your talents, your gifts, your relationships, your influence, your finances, the opportunities that God placed in front of you? Did you leverage your life for yourself, or did you leverage your life for eternal purposes? Church, that's why we do what we do. That's why when you give today 25 percent of every single dollar that comes in here to Calvary Church is just going to go right back out the door to world changers, to feed people, to clothe those that don't have clothing, to help those that are in need. Because we really believe in making an eternal difference, rescuing people out of sex trafficking, planting more churches, partnering with 140 plus missionaries. Come on, how many believe that our church can make a difference for eternity around the world? And you're doing it, you're doing it in an amazing way through your generosity. And listen to me, we are still going to help feed the hungry and help families and meet needs. But listen to me today, if you just eliminate the physical needs that they have, if you just eliminate their need for hunger, if you just help meet their need for clothing, if you helped every single person on the planet, think about it, wouldn't it be amazing if the people of Calvary Church were able to give in such a way and the Lord added to us in such a way that we could feed and clothe every single person on the planet? Wouldn't that be an amazing thing so that hunger was never an issue and them not having clothing was never an issue? Listen to me, if we fed every single person on the planet and they never had another desire for hunger again, yet they go to hell, listen to me church, we still lose. Because really the only thing that matters is that which lasts forever and that's eternity. Oh, I know as a society today, we're all into social justice and I'm not against social justice today. Please don't hear me, you just need to hear my heart today. Social justice without spiritual injustice is still injustice because we withheld the
greatest gift, which is Jesus. And the reverse is true as well. Spiritual justice without social justice isn't justice either. We can't just say, "Here's my Jesus, here's my Jesus, but we're not going to help them either." We have to be a church that does both. Can I hear a good amen, someone? But we have to live our lives with what I call the EROI, the eternal return on investment that God's evaluating your life and he's going to evaluate at that second judgment. Everything that he entrusted to you, he gave you time, he gave you talents, he gave you gifts, he gave you opportunities, he allowed you to be born in America and live in the year 2026. And he gave you finances and influence and ideas, all of it. And he's going to ask you this question at the second judgment. Did you leverage your life for yourself or did you use it for eternal purposes? Jesus said in Matthew chapter 6, he said, "Don't store up for yourself treasures on earth." In other words, don't make it all about earth, don't make it all about yourself, but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, treasures that last for eternity. We're not against earthly wisdom, we're just not stopping there. We invest in that which outlives us. So Pastor Dan, how do you do that? Great question. Great question. If I was going to put this entire message into one point of application, I would just say it this very simply, very simply, you've got to choose to live intentionally. You've got to choose to live intentionally. You're going to say, "I'm going to intentionally love God with my life because I want to be ready for that first question." And then I'm going to intentionally use my life to serve God because that second question matters. What I do in this life, I want it to echo into eternity. I want to hear, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." When I stand before, "Look, can I hear a good amen?" So one. Alright, let's break it down a little bit deeper. If we're going to live intentionally, I've got three ways we're going to live intentionally. If you're taking notes and I sure hope you are. Number one is this, "I have to choose." This is a choice I'm going to intentionally give. I'm going to intentionally give. Number one, I must intentionally Give, not just money today, this is not just a sermon on money, you need to hear that. out of the store and you see someone that looks upset, you just smile at them, you just wave and you just say, "I hope you have a great day." This afternoon, when you're sitting, watching the Eagles lose, come on, someone. Listen, it's not the Cowboys season this year either, so I think the Giants may win the division. That's a really sad thought
to think about right there, all right? Pastor Chris will be rejoicing, all right? But as you're watching football this afternoon and you're sitting there and somebody's name pops up into your mind. Listen, can I just challenge you with this thought? If somebody's name ever pops up in your mind and you wonder how they're doing, you wonder if you should check up on them, or you wonder if you should pray for them, pray for them, or you wonder if you should reach out to them, that thought did not come from the enemy. Any thought to say, "I wonder how that person is doing. I wonder how I can pray for them. I wonder if I can bless them, buy them a coffee this week." That thought came from God, lean into that and check up on them, send them the text, write the card, see how they're doing, and even if it wasn't from God, come on, someone you just made someone's day by blessing them, all right? We got to be the church and take care of one another and we got to give. Second Corinthians 9/11 says, "I will make you rich," and it's not just with money. "I'll make you rich in every single way." So I'm going to make you richer with joy, the writer says, richer with a better marriage, richer with peace, richer with ideas so that you could actually use it to give your life away. You're called to be blessed, to be a blessing. Come on, some of you listen in today. I'll make you rich in every way so that you can just have a bigger house so that you can just have a nicer car, so you can take 12 vacations this year instead of three. No, come on, if you believe that, that's prosperity teaching. The writer is saying so that you can be generous with it in every single occasion, that people are in love with God because of the way that you give. And now they're thanking God because of what you did for them. So in all that, we're not going to let it just go where it wants to go. We're going to tell our money where to go. You have to be intentional to tell your money where it should go because what I've found in my life is if I'm not intentional where my money is going to go, I'm going to wonder where it went. All right? Ron Blue wrote a great book. It's called "Master Your Money," if you ever want to read it. It's a great book. And he basically said this. He said, "There's five things you can do with your money." There's five things you can do with your money. He says, number one, you can spend it. Then he says, number two, you can repay debt. Then he said, number three, you can pay taxes. Number four, he said you can save it. Or number five, he said you can give it. And when I saw that, I thought, you know what? That's exactly how people live
today. And that's the order they place it in. Which means if you do it, it will look like this. Number one, me first. Number two, creditor second. Number three, government third. Number four, me first. Me fourth. Number five, others last. And how we know as followers of Jesus, we're called to better than this. We're called to live for others. We're called to place God first. And watch how we place God first. And we honor him with our money, how God takes care of us. Come on, someone. That's Matthew 633. You seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. And he takes care of us. Now, you have to get on a budget. You can't expect to just give that first 10%. And God's just going to bless the 90%. So you can just live how you want to live. You have to have to plan with the 90%. But I'm telling you, as you place God first and you place others first, watch how God blesses your life. And you have to have a plan for it. You have to plan for it. And so I would challenge you with what 1 Corinthians 16 2 says on the first day of the week, Sunday, each of you should set aside a sum of money and keeping up with your income, saving it up so that Pastor Dan and Calvary Church doesn't have to make some slick video of some kid around the world without clothes or some kid around the world without food. And manipulate you or force you to give. Come on, someone. You just do it because you already love God and you made a plan. We say it this way, Calvary Church, a heart touched by God is obedient in the tithe. And if you've never started, it's time to start placing God first. Number one, you've got to intentionally give. Number two, you've got to intentionally serve. You've got to intentionally serve. And so you can't just look around thinking, you know what? Calvary Church has it all covered. I don't need to jump in and help. I don't need to serve. I don't need to join the dream team. They're doing four services on a Sunday morning. They got it all covered. They're doing Wednesday nights with kids' ministry and youth ministry and freedom groups going and first Wednesday. They got it all covered. And by the way, let me just tell you something. Let me just tell you something. First and foremost, we give God all the glory for what he's doing here at Calvary Church. Why don't we just do that for three seconds? Can we just give him all the praise? It's not me. It's not our staff. It's not our board. Jesus gets all the praise and Jesus gets all the glory and all the other. It's him and he's working. But how many of you know that thank the Lord in some way it is working here at Calvary Church? In some way, there are people that are checking your kids in to church
this morning. In some way, there are people that are serving and raising up the next generation in kid's life. Somebody had coffee ready for you this morning. Somebody helped you park your car. Somebody led you in worship, in some way, listen to me, in some way. whole lot better with you involved. It'd work a whole lot better if 20% of the people weren't doing 80% of the work and we got 60% of the church involved to do 40% of the work. Come on, someone. And so I'd just love for you if there's an opportunity to serve, would you jump in and serve? I'm going to give you one opportunity right now that's an easy one off if you've never served here at Calvary Church. So I'm so excited to tell you, I can't wait to tell you about this. December is going to be an amazing month. We're calling it Christmas at Calvary Church. It's going to be an amazing month here at Calvary Church. And here's what we're doing December 5th. I am so excited about this. We're doing an outreach to bless families. We're going to bless 200 kids who would not have Christmas gifts otherwise. We're going to bless them with Christmas gifts this season. We're going to call it giving hope. Come on, doesn't that sound amazing? I am so excited. I'm so expecting around that. We're going to do 75 families, 200 kids, and you can jump in. You can serve for giving hope. You're going to hear more about that in just a couple minutes. We're going to help wrap gifts up, picture with me right now. We turn our church into a shopping mall experience where the parents roll up on our parking lot and they're greeted and they're parked and they come in and our team is ready. They're able to shop for three gifts at 25 bucks a piece and a Bible. Every kid gets the Word of God and we wrap those gifts up and then our dream team takes them out and delivers them. And listen, the kids aren't even here that day. The kids don't know about it. So guess what? The parent gets to be the hero as they give their kids wrapped Christmas gifts and we get to invite them to Christmas at Calvary Church. Come on, doesn't that sound amazing? I'm so excited about that. It's going to be incredible. We're going to bless 200 kids in our community who wouldn't have Christmas gifts. I'm so excited and I need 100 of you to sign up to serve for that to make that happen. And I need you to give for that. And you can scan in the QR code today to scan to give. We have a designated keyword. It's called giving hope, 100 dollars a kid, three gifts at 25 bucks and then a $25 Bible. I want to give every single child a Bible so they can know the Word of God and give their life to Jesus. Come on, someone. But there's an opportunity and I'm looking not just for the people that already serve. I'm looking for people that have never served here at Calvary Church to jump in and make that your first serve. First Timothy 6,
18 through 19. Here's what it says. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds and to be generous and willing to share with others what God has given you. Jesus says these words in John 15, 8 through 11 that bearing fruit brings the Father glory and it fills you with joy. Look at what he says. I've told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete, that you can actually pass this test by being someone that serves well on the dream team. I want to give a shout out to some people this morning that attend one and serve one. I just think it's so amazing that we have kids life workers that are doing ministry with your kids every single Sunday. Come on, that's not babysitting. That's ministry that's happening. Raising up the next generation in kids life and in bridge ministry. Come on, can we give it up for all of our kids life workers and our bridge ministry? We honor you guys. We say thank you for you guys. We believe that God is raising up the next generation here. And come on, so in the last five Sundays, it was pouring rain, wasn't it? And I'm so thankful that still all those five Sundays we had our parking lot team out there with their jackets on. They were parking their cars. Come on, is anyone thankful that in the rain that we're still somebody parking your car? And listen to me today, they're not doing it just because the church needs them. And listen, we do need them. They're doing it because they need it as well. They need it. And secular sociologists have proven that when you do something like this, there's this sense of fulfillment that floods your life. In fact, the Wall Street Journal recently wrote an article. This is the Wall Street Journal. This is what they said, that people are hardwired. It's placed within you. It's within you, generosity and serving. That whenever you do something good for someone else, your body floods the brain with healthy endorphins so that you get this sense of pleasure. In other words, we're never more like Jesus than when we're serving and giving. Followers of Jesus intentionally give. Number two, followers of Jesus intentionally serve. And then lastly, number three, followers of Jesus intentionally share their faith. Number three, we got to intentionally share our faith. In other words, don't wait for people to figure out that you're a Christian. Look for an invitation to invite them to come to church. And guys, I'm just telling you, look around with what's going on in our world today. Look around at the chaos, look around at the division, look around at the violence, the wars, the outbreak, the natural disasters. People know that something is not right in our world today. And while people know that something is not right, their hearts are also open. Look into this statistic. This is the hungriest generation that we've ever had in America in the last 50 years.
Studies show that 56% of people, one out of two people, say they don't have enough of God in their life. They're not waiting for you to be a Bible expert. They're just waiting for you to simply extend an invitation to them to come to church and watch what Jesus can do in their life. Listen, every Sunday is a good Sunday to invite someone to come to church, at Calvary Church. And we design our services in every single way, that every single Sunday, you're going to get an opportunity at the end of service to receive. we run an all church play. It's called plus one Sunday. And so Easter was our first plus one Sunday of the year. And you guys rallied in an amazing way. We had over 3,300 people. And best of all, 253 people, Mark Box B, 253 people, gave their life to Jesus. And one weekend, come on and give Jesus all the praise, but also give yourselves a round of applause because you extended an invite. (audience applauding) And so I'm so happy to tell you, our next plus one Sunday is December 6th, mark your calendars, we're doing giving hope the day before, and we're gonna invite all those people to come back for plus one Sunday, and we're doing Christmas at the movies that day. And I'm taking my favorite Christmas movie, and you're gonna see clips on the screen. And I'm gonna weave a message of my favorite Christmas movie. We're gonna have popcorn for you. We're gonna have a hot chocolate bar. We're gonna make it feel like the movie theater here.
And it's a Sunday for you to invite your one that's close to you, but far from God. And I'm telling you, that will be your favorite Sunday, not because you like the message. News flash, I'm just telling you, the message that day is not for you. It's a salvation message. And so if you come and don't bring someone, you'll be sorely disappointed that day, okay? It'll be your favorite Sunday, not because you enjoyed the worship, or not because you got some popcorn or some hot chocolate. It'll be your favorite Sunday when I stand up at the end and I go every head bowed, every eye closed. And I count to three, and your one is sitting next to you, your family member, your coworker, your loved one. That person you've been praying for for years and years and years, can I count to three, and heaven and hell are in the balance of that person's life. And they raise their hand, and you peek, and you see that they surrendered their life to Jesus. That'll be your favorite Sunday at Calvary Church ever. (audience applauding) Because that's what life is really all about. News flash, it's not all about the eagles, or the cowboys for that matter. Not all about paying bills, thank God for that. It's not just all about making sure the kids behave. If that's what your life is all about, listen,
your life will be in survival mode. You were made for more than that. You were made and called for significance. You were called for legacy. In fact, you can watch my friend Joel right here on the screen. He made just a little one minute testimony in this video. Joel's a great man, great part of our church when on your way missions trip with me. Listen to him share his story of plus one Sunday, two years ago. Go ahead and watch that video. - Hello family. Just wanted to say how grateful I was so once, plus one Sunday in my back in December, it's always only four. And since then, I did the all in challenge. Just completed my missions trip back in April, touring the green chain with next step, with part of a several small group, and just still grateful that the Lord chose one person. So like, it's a plus one Sunday. It's just great that I'm a part of the church that does amazing things. It's a copy of the tour. You have your flag. Come on, give it up for Joel. His life was forever changed. December 7th, two years ago. Because some lady just extended an invitation. James 519, my brothers and sisters,
if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back. Remember this, whoever turns the center from the error of their ways will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins. Two questions at the end of your life. What did you with my son Jesus? Right answer is this, I surrendered my life to him. I trusted him. I know what he did and he knows me. My name's written in the Land's Book of Life. Question number two, what did you do with what I gave you? I believe there's many in the room today that know Jesus. The next question is gonna be the question that matters for you at the end of your life. You already know Jesus, you're already going to heaven. What did you do with this life? It's gonna echo into eternity. What did you do in this life? That when you stand before the Lord, he says, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." Here is the reward for what you did. 'Cause we say this this way here at Calvert Church, we're here to help you know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and the fruit of that, the fruit of being a disciple, what does it decide? Be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did. The fruit of that then, through your life displayed, is that followers of Jesus serve, followers of Jesus give,
followers of Jesus fish for lost people. I wanna hear, well done, good and faithful servant in my life, how about you? Come on, let's pray together. Every head bowed, every eye closed. So we thank you for this today. We thank you for this chance to just know you. It's privilege to just follow you. And God, we wanna hear, well done, my good and faithful servant. That's why we do what we do, that's why we give, that's why we serve, that's why we share. And so Lord, would you use us in a mighty way? Would you use us in a real way? Lord, if there's anyone here that doesn't know you today, may this be the moment that they come to know you, surrender to you? Lord, for those that know you today, may they just make a recommitment to you right now that they will intentionally give, they'll intentionally serve, they'll intentionally share. believe you for these things in Jesus name. Amen.
